Yokohama Building of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. is an intelligent building constructed in “Minato-Mirai 21”, as the headquarters’ technology center, making the best of comprehensive technologies of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd.

The building is equipped with various functions to achieve harmony with urban scenery and rapidly respond to a more active future information society.

One of such functions is a waste paper recycle system utilizing the transport system.

The waste paper is automatically source-separated and discharged at the waste paper recovery room. Documents are sent from a hopper to a paper molding machine.
